Hyper-V Migration Documentation lacking

Specifically this part:
"In any case, you must remove all the Hyper-V tools before exporting the disks."

This guy here https://xcp-ng.org/forum/topic/9753/removing-hyper-v-tools on his post has more information than the documentation.

I had to see his post to realize documenations meant "Hyper-V Integration Services", which is what Microsoft calls that, because Google said there's no such thing as "Hyper-V tools" and you're probably referring to "Integration Services" and calling it the wrong name.

Reading that one line "remove Hyper-V tools" on the docs I thought you meant remove Hyper-V and whatever else is running related to Hyper-V from the Hypervisor Host and then export disk, but then how can I export disk if I remove Hyper-V.

So add the word 'guest' to the docs at least. I had to read the Microsoft docs to understand you meant remove them from the guest. I see now why you would refer to it as 'tools', because Xen calls 'guest additions' 'guest tools' but had you used word 'guest' it would have made sense.

Documentation should say something like:

• Remove all "Hyper-V Integration Services" from the guest.
• Then maybe list them.
• Link the Microsoft docs page which says how to disable them https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/virtualization/hyper-v/manage/manage-hyper-v-integration-services if that's the correct page.

Then give explanation as to why we "must" remove guest tools, or do I have to find out the hard way.

Other things make sense like export VHD dynamic disk.

The last step is written in the regular, non explanatory, style of docs.

When the disk is imported, you can:

- Create a VM with the appropriate template, without any disk in it
- Attach the previously imported disk (VM/Disk/Attach an existing disk)
- Boot the VM
- Install the tools

What tools? The Microsoft tools? Just kidding I know you meant Xen guest tools because it doesn't make sense to run ESXi tools on Hyper-V but still this should say XCP 'guest tools'.
