Backup to cloud (Wasabi) slow upload. Mirror?

I am trying to understand the best way to backup to an offsite location.
Our client's connections have slow upload and some seed backups can take 3+ days when doing a delta. If a VM takes longer than the timeout then it fails and starts again the next time.
I would like to know if a Mirror will help here.
With mirror backups, what happens if the backup does not fully replicate before the timeout? Does it continue on from where it left off next time or simply start again from the beginning?
