      Hi Everyone,

      We are using Delta Backups for our VMs to an NFS remote.

      That remote is then pushed to a cold storage after the backups are complete.

      Is there an easy way, that if XO is offline in a disaster situation and I'm pulling from that cold storage that I can identify which VHD belongs to which VM? They are all UUIDs, which I guess I can manually maintain a list to tie them together, but that seems cumbersome.

        Hi,

        You re-deploy a fresh XO and you have all the info you need 🙂

          Thanks for the quick reply.

          That's assuming I have my xo-config correct? Or will a clean install that sees the remote know what to do?

            Even a clean install will be able to read inside your Back Repo and find all the VM info in it.

              @olivierlambert

              That's awesome.

              Would they just show up in the detached backups list? Or is there another way to find them?

              Disregard. I see that they still show up in the restore tab.

              This is great!
