        Hi,

        We do not directly support tape yet, another method is to use immutable backups. Either by using a storage where you can configure immutability OR using our Linux program handling it (you could run on any distro and configure immutability with it)

          @olivierlambert

          not directly support tape "yet" is there any roadmap or is it in the future?
          I guess when veeam support is live it will be posible since support is in veeam for tape storage but i rather stick to just one backup solution in this case XOA to streamline the whole proccess.

          you say our linux program can you point me to any documentation on this?

          Thank you Oliver!

            Yes, with VEEAM support, tape will be supported via VEEAM.

            For XO, it's mostly a question of priorisation with the rest. I'd like to get it, but right now we are focused on XO 6 first release and V2V improvements 🙂

            Regarding immutability, see https://xcp-ng.org/forum/topic/8292/feedback-on-immutability and https://xen-orchestra.com/blog/xen-orchestra-5-91/#immutability-preview
