After 30 seconds or so of use of a VM console, XO will freeze the console for any VM I am accessing, then "Disconnected" will flash quickly under the log out icon on the left, the console window will disappear, and then a few seconds later reappear fully functional. The period of non-use is usually about 20 seconds or so. It makes things very difficult when the console is unusable for nearly half the time. The only workaround I've found is to click to any other tab - Networking, stats, any of them - when the console freezes, and then back again. If I'm in a command console, its not unusual to have it freeze in the middle of typing a command, and when I come back, it will have typed a long series of the last letter I typed when it froze.

This is on an Ubuntu VM with XO "built from source."

Any thoughts on a solution are greatly appreciated.

Are you in HTTP or HTTPS?

@jcdick1 Please try in HTTPS and report. It might be something (firewall or antivirus) cutting your browser connection (websockets)

@olivierlambert So that would be generating some self-signed certs and modifying the XO config file? Or is there a network settings somewhere I'm missing?
