Dear, here in the company we use the virtualization host XCP-NG, recently identified a problem when trying to snapshot hosts of some vms with Windows Server 2019, I checked the logo file in /var/log/xensource.log and not being able to enter the real reason for not working, has anyone had this problem?

        @abatex Hello,

        What XCP-ng version?
        What kind of SR?
Do you have the Xen/XCP-ng Tools installed on the Windows VM?

I did not install XCP Tools because it was not compatible with Windows Server 2019

@abatex That's the problem, you can't snapshot the ISO. Try to eject it.

                    JediMarcus,
I removed the ISO however the problem remains.

You are using a SR that doesn't support snapshots.

Please let us know what kind of SR are you using.

The only SR I'm using is Local, which is attacked directly on the server.

That's not the SR type. Please provide xe sr-param-list uuid=<UUID OF YOUR SR>

@olivierlambert I ran the command x and vm-list to see the UIDs and then pasted in the command that indicated, however it is showing some sitaxis error, I tried to perform some variation of the command, however it always gives the same error, included when I add UID of VMs that Snapshot works.

                            Erro:
                            xe sr-param-list uuid= 153f4b9f-f72a-c941-83c2-0b757f80d848
The uuid you supplied was invalid.
                            type: SR

@abatex Why are you looking for SR id using VM-list? Use

                              xe sr-list

If you try to manually snapshot a VM in XO, does it work or not?
