Yes, probably yum updater stuck with a lock file. Please check https://xcp-ng.org/docs/troubleshooting.html#the-updater-plugin-is-busy

I upgraded XO, and when I go to see what patches are needed I get the

This package has been retired in XCP-ng 8.0.
Reason: renamed to xcp-ng-xapi-plugins.

This is a non issue at this point.
I did a refresh this morning on the XO interface, and patches section is working now on each dom0
