      Happy New Year All!!!

I have a small environment at my church running a single host XCP-ng setup with XO. Today I decided to import an ISO to the Local SR on the host (following this guide). However, nothing appears to be happening when I either drag and drop the file or click/browse for the file.

Is anybody else seeing this as well on their end? Screenshot below.

      My Environment:

      • xo-server: v5.103.1
      • xo-web: v5.104.0
      • Xen Orchestra: commit 42432

PS. I put together a quick animated gif of my screen. Due to file size limitation, I couldn't directly attach it to this post. So I uploaded to imgr and providing the link: https://imgur.com/a/4R2nXqe

        Hi,

You are importing it on what it seems to be a VM storage, not an ISO storage. You need to create a dedicated ISO storage repository and upload your ISO there.

olivierlambert You're right Olivier. I did as you suggested and it worked.

Perhaps it would be helpful to throw a popup error to catch something like this. Thanks for the quick response, hope I didn't wake you up?

Nah it's almost 4PM here 😉 (Paris time)

Yeah, I don't know why there's no error/feedback, do you have anything in Settings/Logs? Or in the browser console?

olivierlambert Oh nice, hope it's not too cold over there. It's 9AM over here in Maryland and a bit nippy but not too cold.

Nope, no host or pool logs available (both are empty). Then again, I cleared all the alerts from the dashboard earlier this morning, so not sure if that's what wiped all the logs. I'm not too worried, as this is a testing environment so I'm using this host to do a lot of learning.
