Management agent detected - No version

I've got a Windows Server 2022 VM that has the Citrix version of the guest tools installed. Everything seemingly works, except in Xen Orchestra it simply says "Management agent detected", but doesn't list a version like most of my other Windows Server VMs such as "Management agent 9.3.1-91 detected". I've tried installing the latest version but the installer claims there is already a newer version installed no matter what version of the installer I use. I then decided to try uninstalling the guest tools and reinstalling - what a rabbit hole I went down! Long story short, after I eventually got the guest tools installed again - I couldn't get Xen Orchestra to recognize that the tools were installed on that VM. I messed with it for a while and finally just reverted to a snapshot in frustration.
Is it a big deal that Xen Orchestra doesn't list the version of the guest tools on the VM? If so, what can I do to fix it? Is there a better way to uninstall and reinstall the tools?

Can you do a
xe vm-param-list uuid=<VM UUID>to see the params and check if it's XO or something else?Also, what XO version are you using?

I would do a diff between the 2 records on all tools related fields and see if there's a change.
If not, force refresh XO, then disconnect/reconnect your pool in settings/server and check if it's still not correct.

I have done this but still no difference.
- Citrix VM Tools in the Windows VM 9.3.1
- xo-server 5.110.0
- xo-web 5.112.0
- XCP-ng 8.2.1 with patch's installed

This issue seems to have popped back up with version 9.3.3 on clean installs of server 2022 for us. Anyone else seeing it? Upgrades report the version fine however.

@flakpyro Yes yes, this is exactly what is happening. If you want to enjoy the version number, you have to install version 9.3.2 first and then upgrade to version 9.3.3.
