      Hi all,

I'm new on this forum! I am going to build my first infrastructure after several years on VMware.

I need your help on the design of this new infrastructure.

      I have three sites:

      • Site A: main site, a cluster of 4 compute servers with an iSCSI storage
      • Site B: backup site, a cluster of 2 compute servers for disaster recovery with an iSCSI storage
      • Site C : AWS or another like

Wich is the best way to replicate my VMs between site A and site B?

Can I make backup on Site A and export them on S3 after?

What is your point of view ? What are your suggestions?

I can't wait to read your answers!

      THANKS

Yes, absolutely! And it's indeed a good idea. Get a NAS on site A, then do a mirror backup to a S3 elsewhere.

          Hi!

          I would read this: https://xcp-ng.org/forum/topic/7772/xcp-ng-xo-at-vates

In this thread I'm giving some examples in the backup section. In your specific case, you could use incremental replication to the site B, and doing a S3 backup to the site C.

            Thank you Olivier,

I prefer to have the backup on the main site, in case of restoration.

Can I, from the main site, make a backup and then synchronize this backup with AWS?
