      Folks,

I looked at the backup documentation under "Ram Enabled Backups" and "Consistent Backup".

Under the consistent backup as a default the VM is quiesced for snapshoting. Under that section I should see an information tooltip that says the VM is quiesced. But that paragraph on seems to show a Windows based example.

If I don't see the "i" icon does this mean my Linux VM is not quiesced?. I need to ensure that the databases on my linux VMs are snapshotted properly. How would I go about acomplishing and verifying that?.

Or do I enable the snapshoting with memory?.

        Hi,

On Linux, there's no need, the PV drivers are aware in case of a snapshot 🙂
