How to install xo-upload-ova
-
Hi,
I am migrating from vmware, I have 2 .ova files, they are 600MB and 170GB, trying to import from XO free not working i think it is a network issue.Any way, I decided to upload the .ova files to the XO vm via scp then use the xo-upload-ova to deploy it to the xcp-ng.
The question is how do I install this script?
Thank you all.

The easiest path is to upload them via XO UI directly. Your browser will do the OVA extract work

Hi,
Thank you for your kind reply.
I am using 10/100Mbps switch to connect my PC with the OVA files and the XO, uploading via web interface is not the greatest solution as there is no progress indicator, so I am left in ther dark and the task of the import is always at 0% not progressing, so I need to eliminate some issues, so uploading the ova to the xo will leave only the task of importing to the xcp-ng rather than the webUI uploading to xo then to xcp-ng.Thank you.

Pinging @florent since I do not remember the best approach in that case.
