      Hi,
I am migrating from vmware, I have 2 .ova files, they are 600MB and 170GB, trying to import from XO free not working i think it is a network issue.

Any way, I decided to upload the .ova files to the XO vm via scp then use the xo-upload-ova to deploy it to the xcp-ng.

The question is how do I install this script?

      Thank you all.
      Regards.

The easiest path is to upload them via XO UI directly. Your browser will do the OVA extract work 🙂

          Hi,
Thank you for your kind reply.
I am using 10/100Mbps switch to connect my PC with the OVA files and the XO, uploading via web interface is not the greatest solution as there is no progress indicator, so I am left in ther dark and the task of the import is always at 0% not progressing, so I need to eliminate some issues, so uploading the ova to the xo will leave only the task of importing to the xcp-ng rather than the webUI uploading to xo then to xcp-ng.

          Thank you.

Pinging @florent since I do not remember the best approach in that case.
