I have several tasks which require me to test things without having network access. Therefore I can't do the usual remote desktop connection as recommended. XO has a console tab but it's unwieldy and doesn't work well for copy/paste.

Currently I use Proxmox as it allows me to easily start a VNC console connection into a VM with no network access. I know this can be done via the command line in XCPng but it's a one button operation in Proxmox.

Is it possible to have this functionality exposed in the XO UI?

Have you tried XO Lite to get a more recent web/VNC console?

@olivierlambert I have not. I looked at it last year but haven't checked on it since.

I just tried it now and I remember one of the reasons I haven't used it. The self signed certs give my browser fits and I have to open each host up in a new tab to accept them by IP.

The console UI seems to work the same in XO lite as in XO. There doesn't seem to be any way to copy and paste.
