XCP-ng Documentation - Roadmap
-
@olivierlambert Currently on the documentation for XCP-ng your mentioning that live patching Xen is in the backlog. However on the vates.tech/pricing page on the feature comparison part, it has core feature of live patching.
Is the roadmap page of the XCP-ng documentation out of date, as these don't match? Can you please check this and if necessary update the appropriate page?
If this page is out of date it can prove really confusing for current and potential users of XCP-ng.

Nice catch, this should be removed from the pricing/feature page. Ping @Marc-pezin

Any news on sorting this out I just checked today and have been checking regularly since your reply. However its still not been fixed, the longer this isn't sorted the longer your giving a false impression of features.
However to put more weight on the live patching idea, did you know that VMware by Broadcom has recently implemented this feature for the ESXi component of its product bundles?

In theory we could integrate it, but only a small amount of patches are compatible with live patching. So that's why it's not a priority (but something we'll do in the future at some point). I suppose @Marc-pezin missed the notification.

@john-c this is now fixed thanks to the prompt reaction of @Marc-pezin
