I thought I read where you were working on that process and got it done and were registering the device IDs. I guess i read wrong -
RE: [Beta Release] XCP-ng Windows Client tools 8.2.1-beta1
Apparently be default the template has "Windows Update tools" enabled. Should this not pull the drivers for XCP-ng?

RE: [Beta Release] XCP-ng Windows Client tools 8.2.1-beta1
so I did a fresh 2019 install, using the server 2016 template since 2019 template isn't available yet, post install i was prompted with this screenshot:
This is also the recently re-released Win Server 2019 disk.

Yes, I did reboot. I don't see XCP-ng, but see
XenServer PV Netowrk Device
XenSRC PV scsi disk device
and XenServer PV Bus'sHow that I look closer i see Xenserver Agent and XenServer PV Driver monitor. -- I'm wondering if these grabbed from windows update automatically post XCP-ng tools install.

RE: [Beta Release] XCP-ng Windows Client tools 8.2.1-beta1
I've installed this on Win server 2019, PV Drivers install, but XCP-ng center reports the management agent is not installed AND under the performance it says to install XCP-ng tools to view memory data.

I had this happen on VMs even when they had no load, but now they work. I suspect it's ignoring other progress messages that were the problem in my case.

I don't have that pool anymore because I just yum updated it. If I get time i'll deploy 7.5 again. -
RE: XCP-ng 7.6 RC1 available
FYI The newly released xcp-emu-manager-0.0.6-2.x86_64.rpm has resolved the migration issues that i could produce.

RE: XCP-ng 7.6 RC1 available
just FYI, it is in 7.5 as well. Looking forward to the patch.

That's maybe the reason why I can't reproduce. It's like old tools will lead to migration problems but not more recent ones
HVM also have migration problems.

RE: XCP-ng 7.6 RC1 available
Interesting update: I installed the latest PV tools by enabling window update, this fixed 4 out of my 5 test VMs running windows. More testing is underway with linux PV and HVM.

Same Pool. It does not seem to matter if it is idle or not. -

No snapshots. It happens on both storage migrate and love migrate. -

Mine is between multiple 7.6 hosts. PV tools, no PV tools, linux, windows. It all does it.

RE: XCP-ng 7.6 RC1 available
I haven't seen much, but I am curious about my post earlier about xcp-emu-manager, I see emu-manager referenced in the logs and was curious if xcp-emu-manager should be referenced.

migrate issue with Linux or Windows, PV driver installed or not, vm or storage
I can reproduce on my end almost every time. the migration hangs more often than not.

RE: XCP-ng 7.6 RC1 available
I've had this happen migrating the XOA VM.
I also have it happening on some linux VMs that don't have any tools installed.
