      Hi

      I have a NFS Remote for my backups.
      I need to reboot the NFS server.
      I there any recommendation ? Disabling the backup job and disconnecting the NFS in XO is sufficient to schedule a maintenance of this remote ?

      Best regards.

        Hi,

        Disconnecting the remote is indeed enough: as long as you don't interrupt an NFS share while mounted, it's fine 🙂

          @PoloGTIJaune

          There is a maintenance mode for the SR... Just make sure no vms are running on this SR before putting into maintenance mode.

          If a NFS Remote used for backups i just reboot the nfs server as long as no backups happening. Probably should disable the remote prior but......

              @acebmxer the "enable maintenance mode" is not available on Remote. The Remote NFS doesn't show in the "Storage" (I may be wrong ...)

                A remote is not the same thing as a SR. For a remote, it's simple: disconnect it (click on "Enabled" so it's disabled then), do whatever you need on the NFS server, re-enable.
