new backup shows loading... for ever

I tried to setup a new backup in XOA. But the process shows loading for ever!?!
Any hints?

@bikepope Sorry, but I have no idea what you mean. Please explain in greater detail about your system setup and what actions you are trying to perform.
Also, are you running XOA or XO from sources?

That could indicate that the underlying service isn't properly running. Please answer my earlier question --

Also, is this a new installation of XO or has it been running for a while? If new, what process / steps did you use to install it?

I open "Backup" -> "New" -> "Backup VMs", then it idles.
I am running XO Starter
It's not a new installation, but I upgrades to starter lately. -
