XOCE shows "success" although backup not successful
-
Hi!
I think, there is something dangerous:
I just run a backup and canceled the export task.After that, the backup is shown as "successful":
[Xen Orchestra] success − Backup report for Testbackup_XXX04

Is there any "check", if the export did send the whole VM?
Thank you for your help

Again, we need more details. Type of jobs, detailed lobs and so on.

@olivierlambert
Sorry... More precision, now:XOCE on Debian 11 - latest stable build
Backup as Full-Backup- Full-Backup to SMB-remote
- Single VM
- XCP-ng 8.2
-
- So they are XVA backup right?
- What do you mean by "latest stable"? There's no such thing on the sources, you mean latest commit, right?

@olivierlambert
It is commit a5dab, xo-server 5.107.1, xo-web 5.108.0The backup is type "Backup"

Is it a known behavior @julien-f ? To recap:
- with XVA backup
- starting the backup
- cancel the task
- get a success on the export
I vaguely remember something about this
