      Hi all,
      maybe someone can help.
      I get the following error when trying to export or move a VM between pools:
      "cannot contact the other host using tls on the specified address and port".

      The operation was tried both ways (from the two pools).
      Thanks,
      Noam

        @noam Are you using XOA or XO from source and is it fully up-to-date? You should also give more details on your setup (XCP-ng version etc.)

          @gskger No, I'm using XCP-ng Center on both pools.
          All servers are up to date.

              Can you try with XO or xe?

                @olivierlambert I believe I can.
                Do you recommend install XO on both pools or just on one of them and try again moving the VM ?
                Pools are on two different locations, each one with 2 hypervisors.

                  You just need one XO to manage the entire infrastructure.

                    @olivierlambert I've just saw the the XO I know is no longer offered free of charge.
                    Should I use the Xen Orchestra free trial, XO Lite or other version? I have to say that I'm a bit "rusty" and not up to date on recent available versions ...
                    Thanks again for all you help!

                      XOA Free is still available. Just deploy it via https://vates.tech/deploy

                          This XOA, is that the same as the github setup? OR is this something different?

                          I know of the paid version XO and the github one.
                          thank you for clarity on my part.

                            @olivierlambert Just finished deploying XOA, didn't see the option to add one more pool to manage.
                            The machines that I'm trying to move located on the other pool.
                            Any ideas ?
                            Thanks!

                              @noam Settings/server, add the master from here and that's it.

                                @wtdrisco XOA means Xen Orchestra virtual Appliance. That's the pre configured VM with everything tested, integrated updated, XO Hub and many other things. The free version will allow you to do the same things you can do in XenCenter, and it's 100% free.

                                  @olivierlambert I have the github XO running on a PC (Ubuntu). Will the free one install on that? or it has to be on a XCP-NG host. I like them separate in the event all SHTF outage I do not lose all that.

                                    @olivierlambert That works, thanks! added the other pool's server master and all VM's added to the list.
                                    I've started the migration process an hour ago and it is still running (didn't crash a few minutes after starting it from the XCP-ng Center).

                                      @wtdrisco XOA is an appliance that is directly installed on your XCP-ng host. Think of it like any modern vCenter appliance. However because Xen Orchestra from sources is built on Linux, it's sort-of equivalent to Windows Admin Center for Hyper-V.

                                        @nick-lloyd I like your interpretation.
