Is there something missing in this link?

    • XO & XOA New Look?

I was looking at the images of XOLITE - and just wanted to say that is a GREAT design and layout. Which led me to ask will the XO and XOA get a new facelift? As to me XOLITE and "other" interfaces look similar to vCenter layout and was not sure if the layout design of XO LITE was something of a future look of XO and XOA?

    • RE: problem with export or moving VM between pools

@olivierlambert I have the github XO running on a PC (Ubuntu). Will the free one install on that? or it has to be on a XCP-NG host. I like them separate in the event all SHTF outage I do not lose all that.

XOA Free is still available. Just deploy it via https://vates.tech/deploy

This XOA, is that the same as the github setup? OR is this something different?

I know of the paid version XO and the github one.
thank you for clarity on my part.

    • Linode Cloud Services

I was watching a video and they were sponsored by LINODE

Are they using XCP_NG or XEN? just a customized front end? OR are there other similar setups like XCP-NG/PROMOX that these data centers use...

    • RE: New Rust Xen guest tools

@olivierlambert I was just curious. These agent lists installs - couldn't this be done in XO? Where after you create the VM and then under the ADVANCE Tab, have a section:

Install Guest Tools (slider) Yes /No
Drop down for the OS types that are supported INSTALL

That would be great - The more that can be automated over searching for command lines is great!

@olivierlambert said in New Rust Xen guest tools:

      deb [trusted=yes] https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/xen-project%252Fxen-guest-agent/packages/generic/deb-amd64/ release/

JUST A NOTE: I followed the steps in the initial post by olivier - I DID NOT use a -f like many suggested, no errors, installed and then addition items displayed as per below.

I just installed using your steps above on the debian-12.5.0-amd64-netinst.iso.
Not sure what you want us to test, but if you can let me know.. I will do my best to help.
