      Hi,

Have you tried with the new console? (ie in XO Lite or XO 6), the console might work better.

Hi Olivier. Thank you for taking your time to respond. I highly appreciate the effort you and your team put into these projects.

I'm sorry, I haven't been able to update myself enough lately.
        Is XO6 released already?
Also: XO Lite comes with 8.3, doesn't it? We're not there yet, still on 8.2.1.

I reverted to reinstalling the machine I wasn't able to login to. Then I was able to set a password without any "special characters", and the "old" terminal worked good enough.

        Thank you.

You should stay up to date on our blog post, we announced v6 as a first WiP available via /v6. XO Lite can be used without any install by doing https://lite.xen-orchestra.com/#/?master=<MASTER IP>

We intend to give open access to ressource pools for customers and this can only be done with orchestra.
This altgr issue is present since at least 2020 but hasn't been fixed yet

If it's fixed in XO Lite or XO 6, it means that's a bug in the VNC library of XO 5 that we cannot upgrade anymore. So you'll have to wait for XO 6 + permissions to get rid of the bug.

@olivierlambert Thanks Olivier. Unfortunately in our configuration XO Lite cannot be used.
So it will be XO 6... 2025 ?

You can access the in progress version of XO6 if you're using XOA (not sure about XOCE) by going to https://xo-ip-address/v6

@DustinB Thanks. Didn't realized the /v6 was available on XOA. Thought it was specific on the host.
Unfortunately nothing works for users who are not admin (users can't even view their VM)
There is still a lot of work for permission like Olivier mentionned.

Most of my colleagues are saying it's sexier than vcenter 🙂
