VMware importer using Proxy

Hello,
Can a VMware import job be performed via a proxy or do I need to install XOA on the site where the XCP-NG and Vmware server is running?

For now the import tool does not use the proxy. Not that the full import tool also work from source if you need additional XOA , but we won't be able to connect to them for support
