      Hi IT Folks,

I'm new to XCP-NG and I have some questions here.

      1. When I will create a new VM the GUI doesn't let me pick Network and Storage.
The network is just empty and storage is some stuff in but not usable. First when I select a Template the Fields can be filled correctly.

      1. Is there a way to install W11 VM?

      2. Can I attach complete storage to a VM or just discs saved on the storage

      3. Can I add a second ISO drive to a VM?

      4. Is there a difference between a Remote File System and an NFS or SMB Storage?

      Hope someone can answer that.

      Cheers

        Hi,

        1. You must select a template first
        2. Sure, just select W10 template. I think there's a trick for TPM, pinging @Darkbeldin about this
        3. Depends on what do you really want to achieve in the end, please explain your need that will be easier to answer 🙂
        4. I don't understand the reason why, can you explain?
        5. A remote in Xen Orchestra is the place to store your VM backup. SR (Storage repository) is the place to store your active VM disks

To install W11 you need to remove the TPM check from the ISO this can easily be done with this tool

@olivierlambert said in Some questions to VM and XO and so on:

remote in Xen Orchestra is the place

            Thank you so much!
to 3. I think I just go with mounting the NFS or SMB share to a VM to store some data in it.
to 4. Was just interested if it works ✌

            @Darkbeldin
Thank you for sharing this tool
