So I finally brought an Intel NUC 12 Pro with a i7 . Does anyone have some experience with it and xcp-ng?

How about the experience? Did you test xcp-ng 8.3 Beta?

@nhoty You might want to disable the E-Cores in the BIOS. The e-cores are not correctly supported in a Xen or ESXi environment.

Yes, you have to make a choice, one or another but you can't have both E and P cores at the same time

@nhoty Sadly, it has been announced that the NUC will be discontinued by Intel, but ASUS is evidently licensing them and will likely keep making similar products. https://www.theverge.com/2023/7/19/23800006/intel-nuc-computers-asus-license-support

@tjkreidl Interesting that ASRock is also using the NUC name. ASUS also has the new NUC15.
This new ASRock box uses the Ultra 7 255H which has 6P/8E/2LPE cores (no HT).
