      I notice that when I restore a backup of a vm via xoa ,
      even if I don't check the generate new mac address option

      She won't be the same,

          Hello Olivier ,

          I restore a complete backup ( not incremental ) from vm

          The vm is the Linux distribution : nethserver 8.0

          and i don't select generate new mac adress

          but it's not a big problem , with XCP-ng center , it'sz really eassy to put the old mac adress

            @stefan-be I just restored a VM (from delta backup on S3) using XO Source (current master) and it DID restore the original MAC addresses and networks.

              in my case , the backup is restore from smb share but i don't think the problem from here
