      Hi all,

Trying to warm migrate a VM from one host with a XenCenter 7.6 hypervisor to another host with XCP-NG 20.04.1 using XOA Community Edition's web interface and I'm getting the error "Method not found: vmwarmmigration" when doing so.

The hosts have different CPU vendors but there should be enough storage space on both. They can also ping each other.

The logs do not appear to be loading properly either.

Is there anything I'm missing here? I'm relatively new to XCP-NG so any help is appreciated!

XOA is the prebuilt appliance from Vates. It appears that you are running XO from sources, correct?

Either way, you appear to be about 5 months out of date, so my recommendation would be to update the VM and then retest.

Thanks y'all! I updated to the latest versions and it looks like the functionality is working now. I still need to test it but it does seem a bit slower than expected although I'm not sure if that's because I'm still on 1G connections. Time to do more testing...

            Thanks again!

So it looks like the warm migration of the first VM I tried migrating works, but after trying to migrate another VM, I'm getting a new error message: "Warm migration: task has already ended"

Is there any particular process that I'm missing to mark the first VM as successfully migrated?

**edit: Maybe I'm just impatient because after waiting another couple of minutes it looks like it's migrating OK.. LOL
