I have a delta (CR) backup job with four different schedules. Hourly, Daily, Weekly & Monthly

When I first ran this job the initial backup was a full backup and each subsequent hour was only incremental as expected.

It appears that the subsequent daily backups were only incremental. I had expected these to be full backups.

I am trying to understand how these delta backups works with different schedules. i.e. I am storing 24 * hourly backups (two days worth) which means the full backup would be a max of 48 hours old however I am also storing 12 * monthly backups which means the full backup would be 12 months old?

This leads me to expect each schedule within a backup job will result in it's own full backup?

          Hi McHenry,

After the initial full backup, the system stores only the incremental changes (deltas) at the frequency defined.

If you’ve set up multiple schedules within the same job (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly), it doesn't mean each schedule gets its own full backup.
