I have recently found myself with too much spare time on my hands (in between jobs at the moment), so I decided it was finally time to experiment with configuring an XCP-ng hypervisor on this spare laptop that I have.
It's a Lenovo T490s (Core I7, 16B RAM) with an Intel Wireless-AC 9560 wifi controller. The install boot image doesn't appear to recognize the controller, though.
I know, using wifi for a hypervisor's main network connection is not the most efficient, but how else am I going to experiment while binging old TV shows on my couch. LOL
Anyhow, can anyone point me to the best way to get this working? Do I need to build the kernel and/or install media from scratch? I can do that, but if there's an easier way, I'd rather start there.
thanks,
rob
