@sb2014 I've encountered this particular issue once before, and these were the steps we used to correct it --

Shutdown the VM Export the snapshot's VDI from the SR's DIsks tab using XVA file format Forget the snapshot Import the XVA file created in the earlier step Attach the newly imported disk to the target VM Start the VM to verify that it boots correctly

This can happen since using the sources means also experiment some bugs, while on XOA, you should be safer because we do QA before each release. If you want stability and a production grade solution, go for XOA 🙂

Anyway, the bug is now fixed, get the latest commit on master and try again, it should work!

This is very very likely a request for a production environment (this level of Netbox customization). It's almost taking 100% of @pdonias' time, so we need to start rationalizing stuff in order to keep some resources to move forward on XO 6.

If you have a pro subscription, can you open a feature request ticket? If you don't, it might worth to create an issue on our public Github repo (with all the details) so we can see/discuss there 🙂 Thank you!

Yes I'd think XAPI should not blindly forwarding information from guest without a minimum of sanitation.
