XO Self service wrong quota calculations...
I'm trying XO self service portal. I gave 128 gbyte total ram capacity to a user.
I create 4-5 vms with total 78 Gbyte memory. But on the dashboard shows 127 Gbyte mem usage and don't allow me create new vm as user.
Also cpu cores calculating wrong...
Any idea about that?

RE: [XO] Export pool metadata not finish...
@Darkbeldin Yes, btw right now works normal after 3-5 days with problem...

RE: delayed_ack needed?
On our vmware tests with iscsi storage speed. We closed tcp_delayed_ack parameter on vmware and speed grow very much 5x-10x. (network usage was 100 Mbps before, 5Gbps after)
Is there any similar config on xo-xen?

delayed_ack needed?
Hello,
Is the delayed_ack editing required for better iscsi performance?
If yes, how?

RE: [XO] Export pool metadata not finish...
@Darkbeldin Also I got error when I tried to open vm with cloud init. And cloud-init not working.
[XO] Importing content into VDI XO CloudConfigDrive...

RE: [XO] Export pool metadata not finish...
@Darkbeldin for seperated test:
Config is ok. finished with no problem.
Metadata is failed. -
RE: [XO] Export pool metadata not finish...
@Darkbeldin I removed old config and set new one... Error is same...
Error: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'statusCode')

RE: [XO] Export pool metadata not finish...
@Darkbeldin Actually there is no super duper reason for this. I arrange 1-2 months ago like that, but from yesterday not working.
Here is error msg from Backup Job.
Duration: 2 minutes
Error: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'statusCode') -
[XO] Export pool metadata not finish...
I configıured backup routine for every hour get pool config and metadata to remote nfs backup.
But last 2 days backups failed and many "[XO] Export pool metadata (on..." errors waiting on task list.
What am I doing wrong?

RE: Second ip for hosts interface
@planedrop If there is no solution to add 2 ip on single PIF, vlan will be solution. I just wonder is it possible or not...
-
RE: Second ip for hosts interface
@planedrop said in Second ip for hosts interface:
Normally speaking you wouldn't have multiple subnets/IPs on a single virtual NIC, the best route to go is to add another NIC and assign IPs on that end.
What is your goal here?
I have storages on 2 different ip blocks. 1 for NFS 1 for ISCSI...
-
RE: Second ip for hosts interface
@olivierlambert No,
I want to add second ip address to existing interface.
Example how can i add 10.1.2.100/24 to eth3.

Second ip for hosts interface
Is it possible to add second IP address to hosts interface on XOA?

RE: "Pay for Premium or we corrupt your database backups"
@KimmoJ I wonder how much you pays to Vmware? + Probably you have to pay also to your backup software...

RE: NFS storage change IP and mounth path
@olivierlambert As a 25+ years linux experienced man I learn another thing today.
umount - unmount file systems
-l Lazy unmount. Detach the filesystem from the filesystem hierarchy now, and cleanup all references to the filesystem as soon as it is not busy anymore. This option allows a "busy" filesystem to be unmounted. (Requires kernel 2.4.11 or later.)

RE: NFS storage change IP and mounth path
@olivierlambert Thank you. I'm not lazy but I'm little inexperienced about that problems (btw Ansible really helpful for this kind of multi server cli based things)

RE: Can xcp-ng be use to resell VPS?
@olivierlambert Yes, I try to mention same, VPS users already want OS related things and its not related XO or Xen.
But as a infrastructure management Xen(or XCP) + XO + Whmcs (after build a good plugin to work) will be really good.
-
RE: Can xcp-ng be use to resell VPS?
@olivierlambert For VPS perspective, XO little hard to manage some details.
Adding ip to vps, changing root-pass, changing resources, on the fly, backup, restore things for vps will be painfull XO and Xen based solutions. Because vps-hosting customers already want this things.
Luckly I used cloud-init for this kind of requirements.
On WHMCS, there is no really good solution as plugin for XO.
