      Hi
I've installed the latest version of Xen Orchestra on Ubuntu Server 16.04 from the Source.
I created backups of my three vms with it. That works pretty well.
But when I restore the vms from those backups, I get the enclosed error message.
      H[0_1573649735978_2019-11-13T12_44_13.832Z - XO.log](Uploading 100%) ow can that be?

      XenServer is version 7.1.2.

      Thanks an best regards
      Role F.

        Hi,

What kind of compression are you using for these backups?

Are you sure those backup are complete? It seems it's waiting for a stream end and it's not correct.

Also, please double check your XS is fully up to date (is it now?)

I think so ... the version is XS71ECU2022.

Can you try with a trial version of XOA, this way we could rule out an environment problem.

                  One more note:
If I import the xva file manually from the NAS to the xen server, the restore works.

                      Hi Olivier

I got the appliance running. The backup and restore works from this installation as expected.
Apparently the problem seem to be with the installation on the Ubuntu server.
What else can I do, to make the free version work?

@Role-F I would suggest trying a more recent version of Ubuntu.

@Danp My first try was with ubuntu 18.04, but it did not work (100% cpu load). I could make another try ...

@Role-F Please try to stick to our official documentation to install it, otherwise it's hard to assist: https://xen-orchestra.com/docs/from_the_sources.html
