XCP-ng host status enabled but can't access it.
-
When I go to add my host, it seems to do ok, but after a few seconds, the red triangle pops up with the message CERT_HAS_EXPIRED (see screenshot) . I'm using a CA authority certificate, not self-signed, which I double checked by using openssh that the cert is indeed still good.
Any thoughts as to what I might try?
Cheers!

Closing this out. I believe the issue was not using Node v18. I have it working now.
Thank you, everyone, for the help! -
Hi,
Can you give us a bit more context? Are you using XOA or XO from the sources? Are you fully up to date?
-
@olivierlambert
I'm using XO from source. Just downloaded it today. I actually used ronivay/XenOrchestraInstallerUpdater script.
Installed XCP-ng 8.2.1 last night. -
So you are on the last commit? Can you check https://xen-orchestra.com/docs/community.html#current-version ?
-
Can you check the date and time on both the computer and the machine you have XO installed on?
-
@ajpri1998 ..
However the commit that shows on the link you posted is different.
Yes, I checked my date and time. Also, I used openssl to verify too. -
@quackerjeff You are on the latest commit .
-
On which OS have you installed Xen Orchestra? That might be your environment. Can you test with an XOA? (it will help to discriminate where the issue is coming from)
-
@olivierlambert
Ubuntu 24.04 Server. I can try XOA. -
Sure, please keep us posted on the result with XOA Thanks!
-
@olivierlambert
It looks like it installed. So that's good news. But I can't keep it because it isn't free, right? -
XOA Free is⦠free by definition. But just to confirm: you don't have an issue to add a host with XOA, right?
-
@olivierlambert
No, it added it automagically. -

Ah indeed, it's written in bold in the documentation, I forgot to ask you about this ^^ Enjoy XO!
