Quick question: how to check if it is in final version?
I was running 8.0 RC, but it only shows '8.0' in XCP-NG Center. I'm upgrading using remote upgrade, but I think it will show the same thing/value in XCP Center....
any details in command line that difference RC and 8.0 final?

The easiest is to run yum update and see whether it offers updates or not. There's no easy version number to differenciate them.

It's still a work in progress so it's in the xcp-ng-testing repo (--enablerepo=xcp-ng-testing).

@r1 will probably update https://github.com/xcp-ng/xcp/wiki/Alternate-kernel when he is available.

Yes - its in xcp-ng-testing repo which is not enabled by default.

Link https://github.com/xcp-ng/xcp/wiki/Alternate-kernel is now updated with installation instructions.

Successful upgrade from XCP-NG 7.6 to 8.0. I've let everything run for a few days and I haven't had any issues. (Single Dell R620)

hey everyone! Question. I am currently on XCP-ng 7.6 and want to upgrade to 8.0. I have downloaded and burned the ISO onto a USB flash drive. If I perform the upgrade, will I lose on my current VMs? Thanks!
