License no longer registered after upgrade
-
Hi, we've recently applied the latest updates and now under licensing we're being asked to register again. We are registered and on a monthly plan so all should be fine. Was all working prior to latest update to XOA 6.
Symptoms:
WebUI - Release channel has a spinner trying to show channels.
WebUI - Updater shows [object event]
WebUI - XOA -> License shows as not registered
Console - xoa-updater --register reports is already regsitered
Console - xoa check reports no issues foundLooks to me like the XOA5 webUI is out of sync with the underlying updater status as everything still seems to work.
Any ideas?

CTRL+F5 ?
or private navigation, to see if its not a cache issue ? -

@fluxtor is your XOA accessible over HTTP 80 ?
-
@Pilow I don't think we use port 80. I believe it redirects to https but we don't use a certificate and view the page non secure. It's only accessible on our internal LAN from specific IP addresses.

I think we identified an issue, @mathieuRA is working on it as we speak
A patch release should fix it ASAP -
@olivierlambert Awesome, thanks for the update! I posted a ticket with support. Should I close it?
-
@fluxtor No, keep it opened, it helps our support team to come back to you when it's fixed

@fluxtor Hi.
Could you try disabling the
redirectToHttpsoption in your configuration?
This should resolve the issue. You can re-enable the option once the patch release 6.0.2 is available.
Alternatively, if you absolutely need this option, you can open a support tunnel so I can apply the fix directly to your XOA instance. -
@MathieuRA Hi I have a support tunnel open right now!

Thank you guys! Problem temporarily fixed by Vates support,
