XOSTOR on 8.3?
-
I guess I'm on hold for now, my yum update says
No packages marked for update
-
@fatek Is it ok now? It can be a yum cache issue, the RPM is in the right repo: https://updates.xcp-ng.org/8/8.3/base/x86_64/Packages/

@ronan-a The update was successful.
To install XOSTOR, should I use the Linstor CLI script or the XOA gui method? -
@fatek Use directly the XOA method, it correctly installs the dependencies + is more secure regarding the disk selection.

Is XOSTOR on 8.3 still on hold for production use?
-
@fatek Yes
-
@Danp Any ETA?

@fatek We have to release important fixes before the end of the year concerning problems with the HA which I corrected + other changes on the smapi side. I recently discussed that we should release a stable XOSTOR 8.3 version early next year in order to move forward with important projects regarding smapi v3. But I can't be categorical on a date. We lack user feedback.

@ronan-a I am very interested in implementing XOSTOR on XCP-NG 8.3 in my production environment. Currently running two nodes but I can expand to 3. How can I help to create a stable release of XOSTOR? I am not a developer but maybe I can provide feedback.
