Great, that looks exactly like I want it.

Your issue was unrelated to tools but a Xen upgrade from 4.13 to 4.17 without rebooting it (ie the libs were on Xen 4.17 while the hypervisor still running in memory was 4.13). A reboot solved that.

At least for XO5, there is no trivial way to do that.

So will probably need to wait for XO6.

You can redo the bench with 4 virtual disks in RAID0 and try again, that will represent the more "real" value in the real world (when you have many VMs and disks)

Yea porting it is probably not a bad idea, but I guess that involves the biggest tasks as well 🙂
All tho if you port it there might be opportunities to re-do a lot of things that you have been looking to fix for ages.

Crossing my fingers that this is something that you get time to do in the near future, there is a real chance here to take a big part of the esxi market as a lot of ppl are migrating.
