    Not a problem, something to be done correctly, and not implemented at all in the current XCP-ng API. In other words, it's not trivial You can create an issue in XO repo with all the details (and the screenshot), this at least needs some serious work to find what would be the best approach (and then sorted from our backlog)

    @jkatz Thanks for that. I actually did something different but it worked. I don't know how but it is working. I used this in XO in Cloud Config [image: 1747138648336-a5f1ca37-802a-4ff4-bc4f-6c8ccaa3dc97-image.png] It worked [image: 1747138770858-e2666c29-8a03-41e1-879b-b6559b7f0bf2-image.png] Don't know if does it matter or not ( probably does) that I also entered this plugin into both files : cloudbaseinit.plugins.common.sethostname.SetHostNamePlugin @jkatz said in Cloudbase-init on Windows: You don't. That is lame. Wonder if domain join is possible with that...

    That's the role of master, we do some QA at some point but when it seems to be OK we merge it. Only XOA could provide the stability that might be needed in a pro environment. But fear not, @florent will work on this as a priority so it should be fixed soon

    Restore Backups from a different XO

So I must be doing something wrong as I'm getting the following error when I add in the old NFS mount which has the backups: [image: 1640195910502-dc65c765-1542-4c58-8082-fbb54e33f3c9-image.png] The /mnt/Tank/VMs mount contains the previous XO backups as well as some active VM storage: [image: 1640196114557-680455d2-9559-4fe9-a8a2-127762d5b61b-image.png] FreeNAS has two 10Gbe nics which are isolated based on the type of traffic: 10.10.1.5 is for VM traffic 10.10.2.3 is for Backups/Migration traffic

    @heman Yes. The management interface on each host (Eth4) is in the same vlan as XOA's management interface. Storage vlans on each host (Bond0) is in the same storage vlan as the second interface on XOA (setup for backups) with no gateway.

    @zevgeny Hi, yes this can be easily done by just creating a new network as you described. VMs will be able to access anything in that network/subnet without extra configuration. If they ever need to talk to things outside of that network/subnet (like the internet), they would need a router to route the traffic between subnets

    @danp Sweet that worked! Thank you!! This things pretty kickass, I was just able to duplicate a VM that was rendering heavy CG to a completely different node and had that duplicate VM rendering in less than 5 mins... Thank you so much for the assistance!

    @mauzilla You can copy the template to the new SR using XO. Here's how -- Go to Home > Templates Select the desired template(s) using the checkbox Press the "Copy" button that appears in the header Complete the dialog

    Sounds doable, but it's another feature in the backlog We really need to move forward with XO 6. However, can you: check if there isn't already something in XO Github repo on that topic if not, please create it This way, we are sure it won't disappear
