    @poddingue Thanks for looking into this! I checked the bulk "Reconnect to all hosts" action as well, and you're right — it doesn't work either. It only works if I select a single SR, open its page, and use the "Reconnect to all hosts" action from there.

    Just as an update on this. Did get the migrations working. Still haven't gotten the backups working. Pool is still stable otherwise. Have managed to get backups by using Veeam so it's not to much of a problem.

    Hi, This was fixed in Latest. But if you need to stay on Stable, you can open a ticket to have a patch.

    For anyone else who steps through this, I've also installed the latest xen-guest-agent with the below process. Repeat for each host in the environment, 1 at a time from your Helper VM. ### ssh into your helper ### oc debug node/fedora-cmp-1/2/3 chroot /host cd /var/tmp curl -LO https://gitlab.com/xen-project/xen-guest-agent/-/jobs/6041686376/artifacts/raw/RPMS/x86_64/xen-guest-agent-0.4.0-0.fc37.x86_64.rpm sudo rpm-ostree install /var/tmp/xen-guest-agent-0.4.0-0.fc37.x86_64.rpm mkdir /var/tmp/xga && cd /var/tmp/xga rpm2cpio ../xen-guest-agent-0.4.0-0.fc37.x86_64.rpm | cpio -idmv ### From your helper... DRAIN YOUR WORKERS ### oc adm drain fedora-cmp-1/2/3 --ignore-daemonsets --delete-emptydir-data ### log back into fedora-cmp-1/2/3... ### sudo systemctl reboot ### from helper ### oc adm uncordon fedora-cmp-1/2/3 ### login to fedora-cmp-1/2/3 ### chroot /host sudo systemctl enable --now xen-guest-agent And then from XO this is what your VMs will look like.     @hitechhillbilly Hi, For now the import tool does not use the proxy. Not that the full import tool also work from source if you need additional XOA , but we won't be able to connect to them for support

    @Danp the issue is "resolved" only because we got the host back online so it released the lock. Yes I did try Start on which is method that produced the "The VDI is not available" error no the offline host was not the pool master Yes the VDI's are on shared iSCSI storage (truenas) And I want to note that OTHER VM's that were not on that failed host were able to restart and on any other node without an issue. I was even able to delete old snapshots without an issue so clearly the storage was online and available. It is deeply concerning that we were unable to get the VMs running again and only coincidental that were were able to re-seat the ram module and get it back online -- once it rejoined the pool the locked VM started without any issues on another host, so something was clearly locking it down even though it was fully stopped and visible.

Thanks. I had looked on the wrong VM. The stats are indeed retained. Originally I was thinking of audit logs, but I realized they can be exported and imported. So for m point of view it is enough for now. Other logs that are missing is for example backup logs.

If you move the master to a different host then you are no longer rebooting the pool master first. XOA is just a very smart client and needs the pool master to provide all of the pool information. Secondary machines will just redirect to the master, so if you try to connect XOA to one as a backup it won't work. You just need to wait for the master to reboot and return to a functioning state and wait for XOA to automatically reconnect. The everything will start happening again. If your master host is destroyed (ie. software corruption, hardware failure) then an existing host can be forced to take over the pool as master, but this is not a good thing to do unless the actual pool master is unrecoverable. Ok, great, thank you for clearing this up!

    @planedrop While you are connected to the XOA VM, be sure to verify that the required changes have been performed on /etc/systemd/system/xo-server.service when the VM memory was increased. Details can be found in this troubleshooting KB article -- https://help.vates.tech/kb/en-us/31/48

    I just had this problem with a ubuntu VM. With recovery mode selected press e to edit. Remove nomodeset. Here is an example.     @CodeMercenary Glad it worked! I just noticed that in the couple weeks since this happened, a new set of Pool Patches was available, so I ran through the usual process to update those and had no issues at all. This time, everything went smoothly, just as it has for the entire time I've had this lab up and running. So, chalk this up to one of those weird glitches you're bound to see when you use any technology long enough. As far as I'm concerned, the issue has been resolved. Please feel free to close out the issue.

Assuming there aren't any major changes to the upgrading processing using the existing script should work, but that has to be determined once a general release is created.

    Hello everyone. I tripped over this issue. If someone got another approach I would be interested. Thanks to @lsouai-vates I had a look at: https://github.com/vatesfr/xen-orchestra/blob/ab56924b1d046ccf6c09dfe7a4ab47deb5d77f4a/packages/xo-acl-resolver/index.js and https://github.com/vatesfr/xen-orchestra/blob/ab56924b1d046ccf6c09dfe7a4ab47deb5d77f4a/packages/xo-server/src/xo-mixins/acls.mjs#L150-L168 To what I understand it is not possible as a Non-Admin user to get information like pools, ... By creating a new admin user limiting the resources via ACLS with viewer right worked around this. However, granting admin rights still looks sort of strange. Just in case someone struggled as well this information might help.
