[image: 1770138023972-ecb141c6-fce7-4571-9f3c-9b138ca9c35c-3a43a1db-c18b-4787-8791-95fb4e0c6531.png] you can clearly see RAM crawling and beeing dumped each reboot. here is one of my XOA Proxies (4 in total, they totally offload backups from my main XOA) [image: 1770138140983-490f8a00-67db-4aeb-aa61-6eb3b8c7b570-59efe2ab-72b7-43e6-b89a-bced3ea399f2.png] there is also a slope of RAM crawling up... little spikes are overhead when backups are ongoing. I started to reboot XOA+all 4 proxxies every morning.

To elaborate: it was already in progress, but delayed due to 1. the fact that I underestimated the impact (I thought we'd overwrite the file only when we'd modify it, not every update the package) and 2. lots of other priorities keeping the team busy. But it's clearly the reminder, and the help in better diagnosing it, that allowed to have it re-prioritized and (partly, we've mostly bought time to fix it properly, by simply avoiding to touch the file at all at the moment) fixed so fast.

What is the purpose of this discussion? Could this feature integrate XCP-ng? We are looking for a new virtualization solution. Oracle is a bottleneck for backups. We tested the backup with the Veeam agent, which appears to be successful. However, replication is not possible for this Oracle point via Veeam.

Hello All, This issue seem to completely go away on a older branch/tag if i build it from below for XO: xo-lite-v0.17.0 So the issue I would think is coming from the newer version of XO. Not sure best way to test this. So I am going back to an older commit. If anyone has any suggestion I can try helping as its an annoying issue.

@florent "the export is done by one of the host of the pool" How is this host selected ? Is it the master one, the one hosting the VM, or the less busy one in case of shared storage ?

@Pilow Does disk show up after you do the snapshot? If it is able to do the snapshot there is a high chance it can boot up. So try booting up (and check for disk) and shut it down and do the snapshot at that time if the disk show up. It helps to boot up on the old v5 commit and check from that side too if you have both copy before the commit update. Yep I can confirm that snapshot doesn't always work. But using the older v5 that used to work before the update does get it showing up on the newer v5 commit if I go through whole snapshot, revert, etc. one of those case work.

@MathieuRA As announced, I have now installed branch xo6/update-site-dashboard and it seems to be working. It no longer loads endlessly and shows me that I haven't configured anything yet Thank you very much!

@olivierlambert Because Andriy did quite a bit of work before this merge, xcp-ng depends on xenserver releasing the package to the clients before we can integrate it into xcp-ng. I'd say we can release the package February at the earliest
